This policy explains how Glassfish LLC ("Glassfish", "we", "us") handles information when you use the PicTime app and this website. If you have questions, contact [email protected].
Information we collect
Photos you choose to add
PicTime only accesses the photos you pick. We never scan or upload the rest of your photo library. When you add a photo to a game, it is uploaded so the other players in that game can see it.
Photo dates
We read the date a photo was taken from its file information (EXIF data) so the game can place it on the timeline. If you type a year yourself, we store that instead. We remove location data from photos before they are shared.
Game information
The display name you enter, the join code, your answers, and your scores, so the game can run.
Technical information
Basic data such as device type, operating system version, app version, and crash reports, used to keep the app working.
How we use information
- To run games, share photos with the players in your game, and calculate scores.
- To fix bugs and improve PicTime.
- To respond when you contact us.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your photos for advertising or to train AI models.
Who can see your photos
Photos you add are visible to the other players in the same game, along with your display name. Other players could take a screenshot, so only add photos you are comfortable sharing with that group.
How long we keep it
Photos and game data are deleted from our servers within 24 hours after a game ends. Crash and diagnostic data is kept for up to 90 days.
Service providers
We use Supabase to host game data and photos. Service providers process data only to provide their services to us.
Children
PicTime is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access or delete information about you by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or California's CCPA, and we will honor them.
Security
We use encrypted connections and access controls to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
